SEASON 1

Airwolf, an advance supersonic helicopter with stealth capabilities and a formidable arsenal, was designed by Dr. Charles Henry Moffet a genius with a psychopathic taste for torturing and killing women - and built by the Firm, a division of the CIA, known as "The Firm" steals Airwolf during a live-fire weapons test. Archangel recruits the reclusive Stringfellow Hawke, the chief test pilot during the development of Airwolf, to recover the gunship. Hawke refuses to return Airwolf until the Firm can find and recover his brother, Saint John, who has been missing in action since the Vietnam war. To obtain access to Airwolf, Archangel offers Hawke protection from government agencies who might try to recover Airwolf; in return Hawke and Santini must fly missions of national importance for the Firm

SEASON 2
Hawke and Santini still continues their work for the Firm as they investigate a small town in Pope Country, discovers a renegade general who is planning a preemptive nuclear strike against the Soviet Union, learning that his brother may be held captive in a POW camp in Laos.

SEASON 3
Hawke returns when finding out the Firm as been secretly building a newer and improved Airwolf, finding a powerful laser gun that's been stolen, searching for Archangel when a powerful arms dealer has kidnapped him, to stop an old vietnam buddy's brother from blowing up the world.

SEASON 4
Hawke and Dom returns after a year of rest. Jo Santini, Dom's niece has started working at Santini Air after Cait quit. Hawke finds a mysterious package and takes it to the Firm, but are quickly met by Jason Locke who as replaced Archangel and the Firm is now called the Company. The mysterious package contains a ring with coordinates that might lead them to St, John. Dom suddenly dies after he is about to take off in his chopper, leaving String badly wounded. The Company hires a US pilot, Mike Rivers to locate Airwolf. When finding Airwolf Jo has already beaten them to it. Together they go on a mission to find St, John. When St, John returns he pays String a one last visit before making a difficult change. The Company keeps Airwolf a secret, and still does various missions.
